Refund & Cancellation Policy

How payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds work for TalkSensy subscriptions, add-ons and wallet credits.

Effective date: 22 July 2026Last updated: 22 July 2026

1.Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds work for the TalkSensy platform operated by TalkSensy (“we”, “us”, “our”). It covers three kinds of payments:

  • Subscription fees — the monthly or yearly platform fee for your plan (Free, Launch, Pro, Growth or any plan shown on our pricing page).
  • Add-on fees — optional capabilities attached to your plan (for example the Commerce Pack or Additional Users), billed alongside it.
  • Wallet top-ups — prepaid credits used for WhatsApp message charges.

All prices are in Indian Rupees and exclude GST, which is charged additionally where applicable. Payments are processed securely by our payment partner (Razorpay); we do not store your card or UPI details. WhatsApp conversation charges are set by Meta and are separate from our fees.

2.How subscription billing works

  • Prepaid periods — plans are paid in advance for a fixed period: one month (monthly billing) or twelve months (yearly billing, at the discount shown on the pricing page).
  • No automatic debits — we do not auto-charge your card or bank account. Each renewal is a payment you make and authorise yourself from the Billing page.
  • Renewal — we remind you before your period ends. If you renew early, the new period is added to the end of your current one, so you never lose paid time.
  • If you don't renew — your subscription becomes past due at the end of the paid period, and expires after a short grace period. Your data is retained per our Terms and Privacy Policy so you can pick up where you left off.
  • Plan changes — upgrades and plan changes take effect immediately and start a fresh billing period at the new plan's price. We do not pro-rate the unused portion of the old period.

3.Cancellation

  • You can stop using a paid plan at any time — simply do not renew when your current period ends. There is no lock-in and nothing further to pay.
  • Cancelling or choosing not to renew does not refund the current period; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • If you want a subscription cancelled immediately (for example to close your account), write to support@talksensy.com and we will action it. Immediate cancellation does not create a refund for the remaining period unless this policy says otherwise below.
  • Add-ons — you can remove an add-on at any time from the Billing page. It stops immediately and is simply not charged again; the current month's add-on fee is not refunded pro-rata.

4.Refunds

Because plans are prepaid, activated instantly and priced with no lock-in, subscription and add-on fees are generally non-refundable. We do refund in these cases:

  • Duplicate payment — you were charged more than once for the same order.
  • Payment without activation — money was deducted but your plan or add-on was not activated, and we cannot activate it within a reasonable time.
  • Billing errors — a verified mistake on our side (wrong amount, wrong plan charged).

How refunds are processed

  • Raise the request within 7 days of the payment by emailing support@talksensy.com with the payment reference (order ID from your invoice/receipt or bank statement), your registered phone number and a short description.
  • Approved refunds are made to the original payment method through our payment partner, typically within 5–10 business days of approval (bank timelines may vary).
  • GST already remitted, and payment-gateway charges where the gateway does not return them, may be deducted where the law permits.

5.Wallet credits and WhatsApp charges

  • Wallet top-ups are prepaid credits used to pay for WhatsApp message charges as you send messages.
  • Consumed credits are non-refundable — once messages have been sent and the corresponding Meta conversation charges incurred, that spend cannot be reversed.
  • Unused balance — if you close your account, you may request a refund of your unused wallet balance by writing to support@talksensy.com; verified balances are refunded to the original payment method after deducting applicable gateway charges.

6.Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first at support@talksensy.com — genuine issues are almost always resolved faster this way than through a bank dispute. Chargebacks raised for services that were correctly delivered may lead to suspension of the account while the dispute is investigated.

7.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time (for example when we add payment methods or billing options). The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and apply to payments made after the change.
